On 2 July 2026, the project "Digitalisation of the Study Process" (SPD) will host an in-person Round Table Meeting at the University of Latvia's House of Nature from 10:00 to 14:00.

On 6–7 May, representatives from several Latvian higher education institutions (HEIs) travelled to Finland on a study visit as part of Work Package 4 (WP4) Student Internship Management of the Digitalisation of the Study Process project.

At the end of May, RSU hosted a seminar — Development of a Study Process Evaluation System — as part of the Digitalisation of the Study Process project. The event brought together study quality experts from higher education institutions.

On 21 May 2026, the conference “Forward Together” took place at the “Fantadroms” conference centre in Riga, bringing together nearly 200 professionals from higher education, science and the IT sector, as well as researchers and representatives of institutions.

On 11 May an informational event for the project was held, attended by approximately 100 participants both in person and remotely.

A competence development programme was held at RSU to promote innovative approaches and begin preparations for the modernisation of higher education processes.
