On 2 July 2026, the project “Digitalisation of the Study Process” (SPD) will host an in-person Round Table Meeting at the University of Latvia’s House of Nature (Jelgavas iela 1, Auditorium 107 “Sinistrum”), from 10:00 to 14:00.
The aim of the meeting is to discuss the involvement of higher education institutions (HEIs) in the first phase of the project, during which shared solutions for modernising study management systems are being developed. During the meeting, each HEI will have the opportunity to present its perspective on the selection of second-phase shared solutions, as well as to discuss next steps in collaboration.
The SPD project is implemented with ESF+ funding and aims to introduce digital shared solutions — including a study programme catalogue, an e-file, an internship management system, and others — to modernise study processes and enhance the competitiveness of Latvian higher education institutions.
