We invite a representative of your higher education institution to attend the informational event for the project “Digitalisation of the Study Process”, at which the opportunities for your institution’s involvement in the project will be presented.

About the Project
The aim of the project is to modernise study management systems and processes, provide a student-centred and flexible study environment, and strengthen the competitiveness of Latvian higher education institutions through the introduction of modern digital and shared solutions.
Within the project, the following will be carried out: development of a shared solution for study management systems; creation of support tools for the digitalisation of study processes; integration with national data systems; and capacity building for administrative staff in the area of digital transformation.

During the event, all seven work packages will be presented, and institutions will have the opportunity to join each of them as a collaboration partner:

WP2 — Personal Data Management in Student Research
WP3 — Study Process Evaluation System
WP4 — Student Placement Management
WP5 — Digital Resource and Library Management
WP6 — SIS Core Functionality (at institutions)
WP7 — Shared Registries
Each HEI is encouraged to consider which work package(s) it wishes to join and to designate a representative for participation in the event and for ongoing collaboration.

Project Partners
The project is being implemented by the association “Shared Services Centre for Information Technologies in Higher Education and Science” in collaboration with the University of Latvia, Riga Technical University, Rīga Stradiņš University, and the Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies.

Funding
The total project funding is €23,438,762, comprising ESF+ funding of €19,922,947 and national budget co-financing of €3,515,815.
