You are invited to participate in the knowledge transfer workshop “Finnish Higher Education Institution Solutions for Effective Internship Management”, which will provide an overview of internship management solutions and best practice examples used by Finnish higher education institutions, and will facilitate discussion on the potential integration of these solutions in Latvian higher education institutions.

Objective: To introduce best practices in internship management from Finnish higher education institutions.

Target audience: Members of the WP4 internship management working group under Study Process Digitalisation Project No. 4.2.2.11/1/25/I/001, participants of the Finland study visit, internship management specialists from partner higher education institutions, as well as internship management specialists from other higher education institutions.

13:10–13:30 Presentation on key insights from the Finland study visit (hybrid format, with video recording)
13:30–14:15 Thematic working groups (in-person only):

  • Internship process organisation – which elements from the Finnish experience can be adopted and adapted for organising internships in Latvia
  • Digital solutions for internship management – which Finnish digital systems and their features would be applicable to the needs of Latvian higher education institutions?
  • Inter-institutional cooperation – how to strengthen cooperation between higher education institutions in the area of internship management?

14:40–15:00 Conclusions and summary of key insights (in-person only)
