We invite you to participate in the knowledge-transfer seminar “Management of Student Internships in Latvia: International Experience and Development Opportunities”, during which the key insights from the CIEE Global Internship Conference 2026 (Tallinn, Estonia) will be presented, in order to foster discussion on a unified system for managing student internships in Latvia.

Target audience: Study programme directors, internship coordinators, and other representatives involved in the planning, organisation, and development of student internships at higher education institutions, as well as members of the DP4 project – Student Internship Management working group and other interested parties.

The seminar’s special guest, Leah Mason, Associate Director of the Iacocca Institute at Lehigh University (USA) and Director of the Iacocca International Internship Program, will share her experience in developing and ensuring the quality of international student internships, the importance of work-based learning, and digital, data-driven approaches to student internship management.
