The aim of the seminar is to provide an overview of the latest trends, best practices, challenges, and opportunities related to digital resources and library management systems that support the effective administration of modern library information systems. The seminar will also present information about the activity within Project 4.2.2.11 “Digitalisation of Studies,” which concerns the modernisation of digital resources and library management systems, including its current status and next steps.

During the seminar, representatives from Clarivate will introduce their information systems — Alma, Primo VE, and others.

The target audience for the first day of the seminar is primarily library management staff, with a focus on introducing the functionality of Clarivate systems and how they can support the resolution of current and future challenges.

The second seminar day is more technical and geared towards practitioners, particularly systems librarians, focusing on evaluating potential system architecture solutions within a consortium model, as well as the limitations and advantages of each approach.
