The Association “Higher Education and Science Information Technology Shared Service Centre” (VPC) has successfully conducted an open tender for the “Subscription of the Research Information Management System (RIMS) and Procurement of Related Services.”
As a result of the tender, a Framework Agreement was signed on December 31, 2024, ensuring access to modern research information management solutions for Latvian state and academic institutions.
This step promotes the development of science and higher education by enabling effective management and dissemination of scientific and academic achievements.

Join us to celebrate the launch of Latvia’s first cloud-based National Research Information Management System, powered by Elsevier’s PURE platform. The event will feature a welcome address from key representatives, a keynote speech on driving innovation and collaboration, and a discussion on the journey of the National RIMS system in Latvia. Attendees can also look forward to a panel discussion on expectations and collaborative goals, a presentation on the Pure system’s impact on innovation, insights into how a leading university pioneered Pure, and details on the strategic rollout of the system.
