On 13 and 14 August 2026, the Business Continuity Challenge training event took place at the Scientific Library of Riga Technical University (Paula <\/span>Valdena<\/span> Street 5, Riga). The training focused on cyber incident management, crisis management, and ensuring organizational business continuity.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Representatives of EOSC project organizations and higher education institutions <\/span>participated<\/span> in the training and were able to choose the attendance date that best suited their schedule. The event was organized in cooperation with CERT.LV and the Ministry of Education and Science of Latvia.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The training program combined theoretical knowledge with practical exercises, providing participants with an opportunity to strengthen their skills in <\/span>identifying<\/span> and managing cyber incidents, as well as to develop their understanding of effective responses to crisis situations and the maintenance of organizational business continuity.<\/span> During the training, participants <\/span>analy<\/span>s<\/span>ed<\/span> various incident scenarios, practiced decision-making skills, and became familiar with best practices in crisis management.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
