SUMMARY:GEANT Security Bootcamp
DESCRIPTION:An innovative programme aiming to provide hands-on experience and training sessions to National Research and Education Networks\nThe primary objective of the Security Bootcamp is to support the implementation of the GÉANT Security Baseline\, as well as to demonstrate its benefits and ease of use. Specifically\, bootcamps target National Research and Education Networks (NRENs) that face resource constraints (both human and time)\, however the programme can also support NRENs that would like to use it as a knowledge chain and redeploy it for their connected members (e.g. universities\, research institutions). \nThrough interactive workshops\, participants gain direct experience with the security baseline\, moving beyond theoretical learning to practical application. It’s a tailor-made programme which delivers benefits deriving from the shared experience with peers from NRENs with a similar security maturity level. \nTailored programmes\nEach bootcamp programme is based on pre-defined objectives agreed with each NREN and on the results of the security baseline assessment. Programmes cover the following essential areas: \n\nStructure: understanding the organisational security setup\, roles and responsibilities within NRENs.\nStrategy: developing effective security strategies aligned with NREN goals.\nObjectives: defining clear security objectives to guide implementation.\nKey Performance Indicators (KPIs): measuring progress and success.\nPlanning: creating actionable plans to enhance security posture.\nPolicy: establishing and provide robust security policies and guidelines.

SUMMARY:Services and Technology Forum (STF)
DESCRIPTION:A meeting of NREN Access Port Managers (APMs)\, hosted by VPC. The primary purpose of the Services and Technology Forum (STF) is to provide the NREN APMs with the relevant GÉANT service and network information for dissemination within their respective NRENs so as to ensure each NREN is constantly updated with changes to those services that are of importance to a particular NREN.
